This weekend, fast rising deejay sensation Assassin is set to fire some hot dancehall shots in the twin island state of Trinidad & Tobago.

Before making this trip, Assassin has been on a tight, consistent performance roll. This steady stint saw him performing on the annual “Follow Di Arrow” concert event held at the James Bond Beach on Saturday March 1.

The performance he registered at “Follow Di Arrow” has been described by many as ‘superb’. People are still talking about it. Media reviews of it were all very positive and this development has pleased Assassin greatly. In commenting on the media and patrons reaction to his performance, he noted that he has invested considerable time and energy in continually honing his performing skills and general on-stage delivery.

In this regard, he has spent serious quality time studying the craft, with a view of improving it. He said he always want to try and make each performance better than his last.

The Reggae music performance hub of Western Jamaica, Negril, got to experience Assassin’s dynamic on-stage presentation on Monday March 3. The event was tagged, Jamfest/Spring Break 2008. He think that what happens at Spring Break should stay at Spring Break but the fact is, Assassin’s performance thereon has also generated similar positive reaction as the one two days before with the media struggling to find suitable new adjectives to describe it.

On March 7, he appeared in Texas in the US and in performing back to back hits he literally leveled the place. It has been 3 years pass since he last performed in Texas. He commented on the most recent visit by saying, that Texas has not seen him in quite a while. It’s just a part of the world that he claimed doesn’t get the opportunity to visit quite often. Reggae Times learnt that from the first song to his delivery of the look one audience kept up with him all the way.

So, the hectic schedule continues and his next attack will, as we have stated above, be in Trinidad & Tobago. This musical attack is set to unfold on March 22. Also set to argument the attack by being slated to perform are, Richie Spice and Gyptian. Assassin’s repertoire will include fares to entice the soca massive as well as sweet beats for the Reggae/Dancehall fans.
