Jamaica reggae music legend Buju Banton will be teaming up with international recording artist and producer John Legend for a single titled “Can’t be my lover”. 

“Can’t be my Lover” will be a bonus track on John Legend’s upcoming album schedule to be in stores in UK on October 20 and in the US on October 28. Well-known Jamaican producer Supa Dup of Black Chiney Sound produced the single.

 

 

 

 

GYPTIAN’S NEW ALBUM

“I Can Feel Your Pain” the second album for reggae artiste Gyptian is scheduled for released on VP Record on October 21, 2008. The album consists of 14 tracks. The first track off the album was “I Can Feel your” as been getting heavy radio rotation. Tracks like “Keep your Calm” produced by Steven McGregor, then “Nobody No Cry” for Ray Stephens of Vertex Productions are highlighting the violent and corrupted nature, but also giving hope and resolution.

 Gyptian’s first album “My Name is Gyptian” released in 2006 on VP Records gave us hits like “Serious Time”, “Beautiful Lady” and “Mama

 

 BUJU BANTON ADDED TO DEBUT REGGAE EVENT AT RITZ THEATRE.

Reggae at the Ritz the debut reggae event for the theatre will see another Jamaican artiste performing there for the first time Buju Banton will be joining Dancehall artiste Mavado for the event that is scheduled for October 26, 2008 in St. Elisabeth New Jersey.The Ritz theatre formerly known as Drake Opera House as been in existence for 143 years. The is being presented by Race Entertainment.
