Today marks the kick off date for the 66th staging of the annual Denbigh Agricultural, Industrial and Food Show, with the motto “Grow what we eat…. eat what we grow”, which will run from August 4th – 6th at the Denbigh Showground, May Pen, Clarendon.
Exhibitions will be open between 8am and 5pm on show days, and will be at a cost of JM$1000 for adults and JM$400 for children.
The Denbigh Show is a rich, vibrant and wholesome family attraction in itself because it is the largest and oldest Agricultural Show in the English speaking Caribbean. The Jamaican event that first came to being in 1952 and has maintained the reputation of being one of the most recognized events overall held in the island, no matter what sector. Growing and improving over the many years it is estimated that approximately over eighty thousand patrons flock the event on an annual basis.
