Sean Kingston, born Kisean Anderson on the 3rd of February 1990 is an American-Jamaican rapper, singer, song-writer and producer. He first came to light in the music industry after his first album release in 2007 titled “Sean Kingston”. Great recognition was given to his album mainly due to the hit single Beautiful Girls. The song hit number one on the billboard hot 100 charts, as well as creating waves in the United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, among others; topping charts in all these countries. The single won him MOBO Awards for Best Reggae Act ever also in 2007.

Sean Kingston followed up with other hits such as; Me Love, Take you there and Letting Go in collaboration with grammy-nominated hip-hop star Nicki Minaj.

It, therefore, comes as no surprise that his 2009 single Fire Burning has been certified Gold by the British Phonographic Industry. The single Fire Burning was released on his “Tomorrow”, album and was certified due to the hit reaching 400,000 sales.

Reggae Times Magazine issues hearty congratulations to Sean Kingston on his continued support and hard work in Reggae music and the overall music industry.
