Known for songs like I’m Like A Bird and Turn Off The Light, Furtado released her album The Spirit Indestructible on September 18. The album features Don’t Leave Me that was written and produced by McGregor.
Busy Signal Hit The Streets November 21, Bookings On The Rise (Urban Islandz)
Not often you see a lot of positive reactions to an artist being sent to prison. Busy Signal, who was sentenced to just 6 months behind bars last week, is said to be in good spirit after learning his faith.
Signal was initially facing up to five years for absconding bail in 2002, but through some leniency from the judge the deejay will only spend two more months behind bars.

Richie Stephens, Gentleman do album together (The Jamaica Star)
Jamaica’s music ambassador Richie Stephens and multi-platinum German singjay Gentleman, who both enjoyed tremendous success this year with hit singles Live Your Life and Warrior, have pooled their creative talents on a new album aptly titled Live Your Life, which will be released next month on the VP Records imprint.
Gentleman, who is currently in Jamaica putting the finishing touches on the new disc, was very upbeat about the project.
