Hosted by Jamaican broadcasters DJ Roy and Dubmaster Chris is Island Rok, a one hour show which has been debuted on FUBU Radio Station last Wednesday. Island  Rok is the first reggae programme on  FUBU station and is apart of the iHeartMedia network. FUBU Radio was established by black American entrepreneurs Keith Perrin Jr and Demetrius L Brown in December 2015. Roy Walters, professionally known as DJ Roy and  Christopher McDonald, but is better known as Dubmaster Chris are devotees on Irie Jam Radio in Queens, New York. They have been at the station for over 20 years and have been playing a mixture of contemporary reggae and old-school.

            Dubmaster Chris was born in Kingston, Jamaica and started his career in 1989 on the Clinton Lindsay Show at WNWK 105.9FM in New York. Before working with Irie Jam Radio, Chris had a number of sessions at 98.7 KISS FM. DJ Roy on the other hand, was born in London. However, he grew up in Jamaica and later migrated to New York City.
