In Jamaica where Gospel Music inspires and fosters spiritual development within the Jamaican people, The Jamaica Gospel Song Competition was introduced in 1987. The aim of the competition is to develop and showcase the creative talents and cultural expressions of Jamaicans. The Top 10 finalist in this competition is:

The top 10 music videos of the 2020 Jamaica Gospel Song Competition can now be viewed on video-streaming platform YouTube, Jamaica Cultural Development Commission’s (JCDC) Facebook and Instagram social-media pages and on the JCDC’s website.
This year the public will be able to decide which one of our finalists will walk away with the grand prize at the final show, which will be carried on CVM TV this Sunday, August 2 beginning at 5:30 p.m.
This Sunday, the finalists will be seen performing one last time and then there will be the highly anticipated announcement of the winner of this year’s competition.
The competition will remain open to the public for voting until 4 p.m. on Sunday.
A special guest performance will be made by popular gospel minister and artiste Kevin Downswell.
