Roots Reggae artiste Kabaka Pyramid is set to release his much anticipated first album titled Kontraband. Kabaka has only previously released EPs such as Lead the Way and Rebel Music along with mixtapes since he came in the music industry six years ago. On May25 that will change officially as Kontraband produced by Damian “Junior Gong” Marley is to be released. The album will consist of some previously released singles such as Can’t Breathe, Kaught Up and Borders that features African Reggae entertainer Stonebwoy.

Kabaka is overwhelmed to finally get the chance to work with Damian as the two artistes are very close, Kabaka further explained that he think that Gong is a mastermind and he has displayed the love to build beats from scratch and also that the Grammy winning Gong enjoys working with live musicians.
Once the official launch is handled Kabaka and his band Bebble Rockers with go on a tour just to promote and bring awareness to Kontraband. The tour will begin in North America on June 3, 2018 and runs to mid July. For the entire month of August Kabaka will be in Europe.
