NEWS FLASH: CAMEAL, CURRENT “RISING STAR” WINNER, TRAPPED IN BUS ON THE FLOODED BOG WALK GORGE

cameal.jpg  Breaking news reaching the Reggae Times newsroom is that the current winner of the recently concluded “Digicel Rising Star” competition; Cameal, is among 29 passengers currently trapped in a bus on the infamous Bog Walk Gorge, in St Catherine.  The gorge is now flooded due to a deluge that has caused the Rio Cobre River to overflow its banks and has flooded the Flat Bridge and surrounding areas.

 

At the time of posting this piece it was still raining heavily the roadway in and around the Bog Walk Gorge is said to be impassable and is unable to accommodate vehicular traffic.

 

Cameal is among 28 other passengers who are trapped in a bus, which is stranded on the Bog Walk Road.  The vehicle is unable to move due to the rising waters and is at the moment hoping for some kind of rescue attempt to secure their safety.
