PROTOJE TO PERFORM AT READING & LEEDS FESTIVAL

Jamaican Reggae musician Protoje is scheduled to appear at Reading & Leeds Festival in the United Kingdom, which will mean that he will be the first Jamaican artiste in over thirty five years to perform at the festival. The last Jamaican performance came from Steel Pulse who made appearances in 1983, but unfortunately was forced by crowd aggression to stop his performance early.

Protoje is at the top of the new generation of roots Reggae music making a massive impact on a global platform alongside the likes of Chronixx, Jesse Royal, Kabaka Pyramid, Jah9, among many other upcoming rising stars.

Protoje has been active on the international stage, performing at major events such as Coachella in California, Summerjam in Germany and Glastonbury in the United Kingdom.

Protoje suspects that because of the variety of creativity that exists within his music, fans are more able listen to his tracks with a receptive ear and heart.

The entertainer is in preparation mood to release his fourth album which features the ballad Bout Noon also his statement single Blood Money which highlights many social issues that exist within Jamaica as well as a collaboration with Mortimor for the Truths and Rights single. In 2015 Ancient Future earned him the number one position on the Billboard Top Reggae Album Chart and everybody involved and fans would love to see that feat matched.
