The Emperor ‘Mr Loverman’ Shabba Ranks himself will perform on night 2 of Reggae Sumfest Montego Bay Jamaica .The first reggae artist to win a Grammy award, Rexton Rawlston Fernando Gordon, a Josey Wales protege original stage name ‘Co-pilot ‘started internationally in the 80’s. He secured a contract with Epic Records in 89. Shabba won Grammy Awards in 92 for best Reggae album ‘As Raw as Ever‘ and again in 93 for ‘X-Tra Naked ‘. He also contributed a Rap/Reggae hit with the ‘Addams Family’ movie soundtrack a version of It’s a family affair originally done by Sly and the Family Stone in 71.
