Shaggy and Sting slated to perform at Queen Elizabeth II’s 92nd Birthday Celebration

Orville Richard Burrell affectionately known as Shaggy, the philanthropic Jamaican musician and former United States Marine, Famous for hits such as” Oh Carolina ”, ”It wasn’t Me”, ”Angel ” and ”Mr. Boombastic” , is slated to perform alongside his new album’s collaborating artiste Sting.

The two have been seen together on a number of occasions since 2018, performing at the 60th staging of Grammys, preceded a  Super Bowl halftime performance and also in Jamaica where Shaggy’s “Shaggy and Friends” concert raised over US$1M in aid of the Bustamante Hospital for Children in Kingston.

On April 22,2018 at the Royal Albert Hall in London, Queen Elizabeth II will be hosting her 92nd birthday party and this will be the next time we witness the two sharing a stage as the British Broadcasting Commission (BBC) will be broadcasting the concert live for viewers across the world.

Shaggy and rock sensation Sting will be amongst other entertainers such as Kylie Minogue, Craig David, Shawn Mendes, Ann- Marie, South African choral group Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Tom Jones. The event will not only be broadcasted but open to the public, as persons are able to purchase tickets for £41.
