Speak Easy

Over the years our Poetry & Live music showcase Speak Easy has thrilled audiences with unique performances. Come and hear musicians reading from the poets who inspire them & watch underground talents – young musicians and writers hit the stage and make an impression.

Join us as under the stars and enjoy a synthesis of voices, united with the pulsating rhythms of Congo drums, poets riding the waves of energy, melodic voices lifting their songs to the gods, while photographs and art work are designed and displayed to get you thinking.

Speak Easy comes back on November 11 at our new home the Shell amphitheater Hope Gardens. Performers featured this year include BluGrass in the Sky, SezI, Tina Simone Mowatt, Jason Worton, and Cen’C Love with special guest performances from Belly dancers from the Raks Sharki Jamaica, The Order of the Drum Circle & Asante Amen.
