Friday July 29, 2011 Usain Bolt is set to return to Stockholm, Sweden were he suffered his last defeat, he will be running the 200 metres on July 29, at the Stockholm’s 1912 Olympic stadium.
In his first defeat in the past two years, Bolt was beaten by Tyson Gay in the 100 meters at the DN Galan. This race has since been voted the Performance of 2010 by US Universal Sports.
Bolt remains unbeaten so far this season; last week Bolt clocked 20.03 seconds to beat the European champion Christophe Lemaitre at the Areva meet in France. Usain Bolt who is set to have an excellent season must pull out all the stops if he is to beat Michael Johnson’s 1996 record of 19.77 in the 200m set in the Stockholm Olympic stadium. That Stadium has seem more world records (83) than any other sport arena.
