Yvad to kick start west coast tour

Forty-three years old Kevin Davy otherwise known as “Yvad” is a musical roots Rastafarian singer that is known for his debut album which was released in 1996 called Young, Gifted and Dread. Yvad is also recognized for his most recent project in 2015 titled Cease Fire.

On August 16, 2018 Yvad will begin his Herb and Music Tour slated for the West Coast in the United States in an effort to promote his latest EP that was released in December, called  “Riverton”, which is the name of the landfill located in the Three Miles area of Kingston, was inspired by a fire, at the Riverton three years ago.

This is not the first time Yvad will be going on tour, as he did before with the Marleys and The Wailers to places such as Europe and North America which includes the US West Coast, but this is the first time he will be touring as a solo artiste.

The artiste currently has sixteen dates confirmed for his tour that will start at Launchpad in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with shows in Arizona and Oregon and most of the dates confirmed for California and Arizona.  The tour will be concluded on August 30 at The Jam in Arcata, California.

“For me this is a major, major accomplishment. There are some good things happening now in terms of my career, so it’s important to go on the road and take it to the next level,” Yvad stated.

Other entertainers such as Prince Kumar Fyah, former lead singer of the Raging Fyah band, Ras Elijah, Stanpipe, I-Trinity, Tuff like Iron, Rastaman Rob and Dre Z are among the persons joining Yvad on his upcoming tour.
